The 1950’s. The decade of music changing forever, the start of the Rock N Roll era, the decade that saw consumerism rise to the top and saw the United States become a world superpower. It was also a decade of very fast-changing fashions which saw the reserved look’s of the 40’s slowly fade out and be replaced with bright-coloured poodle skirts, bobby soxxer outfits and the beginning of the trend of skirt’s getting shorter and shorter.

All three of us have always had a soft spot for 60’s fashions, but lately, due to the rise of Rock N Roll music events in SL, we’ve been devling deeper into the world of 50’s fashion, and ya know what? We like it!
