A dusk stroll in Venice…

There are a LOT of really nice photogenic places on the Destination Guide in Second Life and Lizzy thought it would be a good idea to just start randomly taking pictures at some of the better-known ones, so here we are! Heartsdale Jewellery – The Mists of Avalon Collection

So a few days ago all three of us became bloggers for Heartsdale Jewellery! Like the older posts on this blog to do with items we picked up ourselves, rather than just post a pic, we’ll be posting our thoughts as well.

The Necklace

The Mists of Avalon Collection is (at the time of posting) the newest in the Heartsdale line up of collections being released towards the end of last month. It includes both left and right earrings and a necklace along with a HUD for colour changing as well

The HUD

Mists of Avalon conjures images of elfs and the Elven realm, especially when dealing with the word “Avalon” within Second Life itself and the entire set hits both marks for elven jewellery, nature, and simplicity. The nature comes from the gold tree shaped clasp which is holding the single base jewel in the necklace and the earring, and the cimplicity is the fact that its only a single large jewel, lets face it folks, elfs aint blingy.

Wearing the items was simple, the earrings are already at the correct level for all the Lelutka heads that all three of us use. Obviously, though the necklace did need a bit of adjusting.

All in all, when it comes to a simple statement for Jewellery, the Mists of Avalon covers the bases needed.
