Today (Jan 10th) arguably one of, if not the top club in Second Life, Peak Lounge, celebrates a decade in Second Life.

Opened in January of 2014 at the beginning of the rise of dance and EDM clubs in SL, Peak Lounge at the time was facing some stiff competition from the likes of the Ambrosia Group (who are still open), Dance Island (that Lia used to work at) and Dance Nation. Fast forward a decade, and while a lot of these older clubs are still open, none have managed to capture and more importantly KEEP hold of the people who visit their club.

Peak Lounge isn’t just one singular club, it’s over a half dozen locations spread across the region and they hop from venue to venue to keep the feel of the place fresh, especially for new people who are popping in for the first time.

They have a whole day of awesome DJ’s on back-to-back to celebrate their 10th anniversary, and while some clubs continually force their hosts and DJs to proclaim that they are the “Number 1 club in SL”.. Peak Lounge, which has double the traffic at peak times can actually claim to be one of the top clubs, if not THE top club in Second Life.
