Have a great Christmas and New Year!

Things have been very quiet on the blog and flicker for us three, mainly due to Fen’s change of shifts from mostly daytime to nighttime shifts and, of course, Lizzy’s operation. Lizzy said it was ok that I mentioned what she was being operated for. It was a hip replacement. She has been having problems with arthritis since she was in her early 30’s and things have just been getting progressively worse for her over the past few years. Thankfully though she is now recuperating at her little croft somewhere in the north of Scotland.

As for what is going to be happening with the 3 Girls site and flicker in the future? Well, things will be changing soon, probably after new year. I mentioned before that there will be more posts happening from us as individuals, that will be kicking off after new year. Also, with Fen’s work times slightly being shifted back to day time shifts (she’s a nurse for the NHS) it means that for about half the week all three of us will be on at the same time again! That means our regular trips around Peak Lounge, Warehouse 21 and a few other clubs will be starting back up, along with the group fashion shots as well!

The back half of 2024 has been a bit of a testing time, with the closure of New Haven, the stuff that went on with PortoShiteHole, (which reminds me…Hi Mike! I see Cara dumped you…guess she did have some taste after all), and our move to Maggy City and reopening of the Gym…it’s been a year of a lot of up’s and downs. I have a feeling though that 2025 will be a good year!

A change to the fashion blogging…

Some regular followers of the blog will have seen that there has been a drop in fashion-centric posts on the blog and on Facebook for a few months now.

The way that the three of us generally do fashion posts is the same way we usually go out dancing at W21 or Peak or other clubs we go to, we typically all wear the same outfits. This worked out well for the three of us because generally speaking we all worked “9 to 5” style jobs with the exception of Fen who sometimes had to do nighttime work.

That has changed over the last two months though. Fenny works for the UK’s National Health Service as a nurse, and due to a shortage of staff her hours have been changed to half night shift and half day shift on a rolling basis. It means the amount of time we can get together as a group to take a fashion piccy has been cut down by quite a bit. There still will be the group shot fashion outfits, especially for Enchantress who we have been blogging with for a while now, but the frequency will drop down.

So, all three of us have decided to go down a slightly different road when it comes to the fashion side of things on the blog. Instead of waiting for a time when all three of us can be on to take a pic, we’re going to be doing a lot of solo-based pic taking as well. Each of us has a different favourite type of style when it comes to what we generally wear when we are out shopping or just hanging out. Lizzy likes the more retro look, Fen likes the more club/latex look and I’m more of an 80s and 90s fashion freak.

Starting next week, probably after the next Enchantress group pic we have planned, expect to see more individual pictures being taken on the blog, which should give more of a wider range of styles than we have managed so far with the group shots!
