RenFest is the annual celebration of all things Renaissance. The Renaissance period covers the 15th and the 16th century in Europe and the UK and seen a lot of changes not just to the social order, but to fashion and art. The whole point of RenFest is, well, to celebrate it! Ohhhhh…and to raise money for the American Cancer Society!

There are a total of 4 regions, half of which are decidated to the many vendors selling their RenFest wares, with the two outer regions being a mix of Event and Vendor spaces.

There are a lot of events planned over the course of RenFest including some events where some of the folks from Linden Lab participate as well. Lots of DJ/Music based events and, of course, Renaissance period events as well. The whole thing is NON RP too, so you dont need to dress up in Renaissance period attire to go and visit

From kid’s rides, to jousting, to vendors and major events, RenFest if anything would be a good time to have a break from whatever you are doing and just spend a day walking around and going to the events!
