Hi all! This is Liandra writing this blog post and it’s to do with an image that appeared on the SLS (SL Secrets) blog two weekends ago.

Yes, one of us works at The Guardian, that’s me (Lia). I have worked at The Guardian for 3 years now after leaving the BBC’s online division to work for the online presence of The Guardian. Concerning the rest of the image. It was really no secret that I work at The Guardian, there are even HUGE hints about it in my profile and I have mentioned it a few times during work convos going on at clubs.

When it comes to the new Metaverse section coming for The Guardian, yes, there will be (from what I know) an extension of the /games page on the website which will be covering “Metaverse” style games which will also encompass Second Life but also a host of other “Metaverse” style games as well, it will not be SL exclusive.

Will I be writing for it? Well, right now I’m part of a team dealing with the Science and Technology side of the site and although I have had input towards the game side of the site I will not be a regular writer for the games section. I will however be one of the many “line editors” for that section.
